Chris accepted the leadership position of Executive Director at the Grigg Lewis Foundation in 2016, having served as the Foundation’s Program Coordinator since 2003. Chris works with the Board of Directors to develop and implement the Foundation’s vision and strategies through long-standing programs and new initiatives. She is responsible for the operational management of the Foundation, including grant-making, finance, and leadership initiatives that are designed to promote the Foundation’s goal of benefiting residents of Eastern Niagara County.
She has been instrumental in working with staff and board members to develop the Foundation’s Identified Opportunity Plan in 2016 and again in 2020. Those opportunity plans established firm goals that have evolved into initiatives. In 2011, Chris played an essential role in the organization of the Lockport Family Focus Group, a community coalition that unites Eastern Niagara County nonprofit agencies and fosters collaborations throughout our region. The group continues to meet monthly. Chris has a deep commitment to the community. In addition to being born and raised in this area, she has worked with businesses, community organizations, and stakeholders in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years.
